Job Scope and Responsibilities
1) Talent cultivation and development – Evaluates performance of engineers, provides mentoring, training, and coaching where indicated.
2) Working process improvement - Works with category leader and oversee counterparts to establish/refine processes and procedures in the areas of NPD, ECR/ECN, new supplier evaluation, product transferring, cost saving, etc.
3) New Product Focus – Leading or support team members to work with the design and project teams into headquarters, to ensure projects going Ｏn schedule.
4) Manufacturing technic design - Contributes to the determination of manufacturing technics by evaluating the supplier’s capability and the intent of the product design and quality.
5) Problem resolving during production - Coordinates with other functions to actively and timely solve technic or supplier performance issues.
6) ECR/ECN process – Initiating engineering change request when change is necessary and following up deployment of ECN process.
7) Product Safety, Standards and Reliability - Ensures that products have been tested and evaluated for reliability, and that they meet applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
8) Communication - Effectively and appropriately communicate with all levels of the organization and supplier and make sure assigned tasks are finished as request.
9) Other assignment – Other temporary assignment by direct manager.
任职要求:
Requirements:
Education: College degree Ｏn Mechanical or Engineering area. Bachelor degree will be a good plus.
Language: Excellent English Written and Read, and verbally capable to have project meeting with US team independently.
Software: Experienced using any CAD tools like Solidworks, Auto-Cad.
Personality: Conscientious, Hardworking, Strong willingness to learn.
Industrialization Experiences: Furniture; Home appliance; Mechanical equipment and similar industry.
Working experience: 3 years’ experience Ｏn mechanical design or manufacturing.
Traveling: Being able to travel to the mills or its sub-factories which producing BYD products. Traveling frequency is around 1/5 of working time during hot season but it highly pending to the situation of the Ｏn-going production.
